WHAT WE DO
Established in 2012, Black Button Distilling was Rochester’s first grain-to-glass distillery since prohibition, and we’ve come a long way since then. By staying true to our vision of following our own path, making adventurous spirits - and above all else, doing it with locally sourced ingredients - we now have loyal fans across the country.
WHY WE DO IT
As part of our commitment to supporting local, Black Button became the first licensed farm distillery in the New York State Grown & Certified Program. This guarantees our spirits are made from local and environmentally responsibly ingredients. By helping local farmers preserve New York State’s rich agricultural heritage, we’re able to bring the quality of their harvests into every sip of Black Button.
