Rochester, N.Y. – Black Button Distilling marked a milestone Tuesday, filling its two-millionth bottle of spirits.
Black Button’s founder, Jason Barrett, says what started as a dream has flourished over the past decade into something he never would have imagined.
“The fact that we now sell in 14 states, we export to Japan, we have a partnership with Constellation Brands – these are all just things I never imagined in the early days,” he said.
In an effort to give back, the company plans to auction off the two-millionth bottle, with proceeds to benefit the American Heart Association. For more information click here.
Black Button’s first-ever bottle came off the line in 2013, and in 2019, the company celebrated its one-millionth bottle.
Black Button became one of several local companies to focus its production on hand sanitizer during the pandemic.
