The Black Button Distilling Tasting Room at 1344 University Avenue is built in a historic factory warehouse, originally home to the Symington Forge Corporation, a major Rochester manufacturer during World War I. Symington Forge made shell casings for the French 75 field guns that were essential to the allies winning “The war to end all wars.”
With our bar serving Black Button cocktails, New York State Wine and Beer, as well as relaxing seating areas, visitors to our Tasting Room will experience the true spirit of Black Button Distilling.
A warm and welcoming gateway to our craft distilled spirits, our Tasting Room is a comfortable place to enjoy a cocktail, sample our spirits and shop for bottles of our spirits and merchandise. Our event space hosts catered private events, parties, corporate gatherings, and happy hours as well as our cocktail and spirit blending classes.
Join us for cocktails, tastings, and retail shopping.
